$30k interim sum for victim
MR BONG Hwee Haw, who had severe head injuries after being knocked down by a Romanian Embassy car, will receive a $30,000 interim payment from the vehicle’s insurer, NTUC Income. The payment will be taken into account in any future compensation he may receive from the insurer. At present, his lawyer is locked in discussions with the insurer over compensation claims.
