I have checked the net and unable to find any information that Kingdom is in fact coming back. Please enlighten those of us who are unable to find this info. where to look.
Such a shame ITV cancelled the show after building such anticipation with the cliffhanger. It’s an even greater shame that shows like The OC are left to run themselves into the ground while something like Kingdom is cancelled on a high. Ah well.

suspect the real ending for the original script was with Simon’s death
and all there-after was an add-on,
then this non-ending was due to a surprise cancellation of another season.

ARGH! I cannot BELIEVE this was cancelled…..
It’s such a shame that this show got canceled, it was one of the few pleasant TV series on air…I really hope that ITV reconsider their decision.

Talking away Kingdom when it is really hitting a high and on such a cliffhanger is really a mean thing to do to the viewers.
