This program was produced by TVSAMOA in Hawaii. This is the first part of an hour long documentary. Samoa International journalist Tanielu K. Aiono Sataraka interviewed the Doles family lawyer and also acquired footages from the family and MSNBC for this important documentary. To date this is the biggest Police Brutality case in the USA, however it did not receive proper media attention due to the OJ Simpson Murder trial and Rodney King police brutality case which dominated the media at the time. According to Producer Sataraka, he wanted to make sure that Samoans are well informed and educated about their rights.

This was terrible. I just watched a piece of your story on TRU tv and this was a disgusting display of police brutality. I havennever seen that many police at one persons’s house in my life. It was like Riot police and why? To harass a bridal shower. I’m glad that you guys won you lawsuit against the police department. It was completely uncalled for and racist behavior.
