i’m an artist. as a child, l loved watching everything disney. mr disney was my mentor. when i was 20 i landed in los angeles to spend 4 yrs there.
the day was december 15, 1966. when i got to the terminal i was totally dismayed & shaken by the headlines in the los angeles times. you see, mr disney had died on that very day. my heart was broken, i’ll never ever forget it. 10 days later on christmas i was at disneyland. what a dream come true, even if walt was no longer with us.
Love it, super magical. Though Disney World will always be home since it was the first for me and is whats known best by me. I will never forget walking into Disneyland for the first time last summer. Very intimate feeling, and very magical. Thanks to whoever made this.
