What are the chances of getting hired as a Lawyer in Canada?

What are the rate that a lawyer is going to be hired when he just finish school?

    Depends on the student both with respect to grades and with the type of law firm he is willing to article at.

    When I finished law school I’d say between 85-90% of students landed an articling position. But that includes people who were willing to take jobs that paid ridiculously low salaries.

    If the goal is to get a good job (at one of the seven sisters or at least on Bay St) than competition is very high. If the goal is just any law firm than getting a job is pretty much guaranteed.
