How long does a lawyer schedule a follow up meeting from the initial intake one?

If someone has an initial consultation with a lawyer and signs up to use them, how far apart would they be scheduled to meet again to go over the next step to take? For example if someone is suing a doctor for malpractice and the case is on a contingency basis.

There’s no rule about these types of thngs. It depends on everyone’s schedules as well as how close to the expiration of the statute of limitations you are. Typically, it’s within the first 2 or 3 weeks of retention.
